Aaron’s breastplate mentioned in the Bible at Exodus 28:17-20 contained Jasper, turquoise and Amethyst among 9 others. This collection of polished gemstones is representative of the many stones which are found throughout the world. For example, the tigereye is from Africa, the citrine and the amethyst from Brazil and the obsidian and unakite are from the United States.
